The main ticket gates open from 11:00 on Thursday 9th September and music commences at approximately 13:00, finishing at 03:00.
Music on Friday begins at 10:00 and finishes at 05:00. On Saturday it begins at 10:00 and finishes at 05:00.
There is no music on Sunday.
The festival site closes on Sunday 12th September and all attendees must be off site by 18:00.
Access to the site for ticket holders will commence on Thursday morning at 11:00. Gates remain open until 23:00. On Friday and Saturday the gates open at 10:00 and close at 23:00.
1. You must take a Lateral Flow Test the morning before you set off for the event (within 12 hours).
These can be ordered on the .gov website here https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests or collected from a local pharmacy. We’re asking everyone to take a LFT, even if you’ve had Covid-19 previously or you’re double vaccinated.
2. You must report the result of your LFT on the .gov website here https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result in order to receive an official email/SMS from the NHS confirming your result.
3. Once completed, please take a photo of your LFT next to your photo ID. We will match the time this photo is taken with the official email/SMS received.
Arrival on site: Upon arrival on site, you will be required to show:
• The NHS email/text received on the day of the event (within 12 hours).
• The photograph of your negative lateral flow test with your photo ID.
If you fail to complete your lateral flow test and/or provide evidence of the items listed above, you will be tested on arrival. Only a negative test result will result in accreditation. Those found to be positive will be denied entry. Non compliance will result in being removed from the site.
Cosmic Roots is strictly an aged 18+ event. We operate a challenge 25 policy and all those who appear under the age of 25 will be asked to provide proof of age by a valid photographic ID (UK Driving License, PASS 18+ Card or Passport).
There is strictly no entry to those who are under the age of 18.
We will not be able to offer refunds to those refused entry on the day.
Cosmic Roots is located in East Raynham, just off the A1065, 4 miles South of Fakenham and 13 miles North of Swaffham. Approach from either direction and continue along the A1065 until you see signs for the event which will direct you to the parking and drop off point.
Please respect the local villages when travelling to and from the event – no littering, loud music or careless driving.
If you are driving, or want to travel by car to Cosmic Roots, we ask that you bring a full car of people. There will be a £10 parking fee, charged on arrival, for any vehicles with less than 3 people in.
This fee has been put in place to encourage lift sharing, which will alleviate pressure on local roads, reduce Cosmic Roots’ environmental impact and allow attendees to enter the festival as quickly as possible. If you have spare spaces in your car, or you don’t need to use your car, then please consider lift-sharing. It must be part of the future of festival travel and private transport in general.
The parking fee does not apply to camper vans and live-in vehicles with a valid pass.

Loos and a limited number of showers are accessible in the public campsite.
Camper vans are allowed. They will remain in the general car park all weekend. 24hours access is granted however, you will be searched upon re-entry to the festival.
A limited quantity of personal alcohol is permitted in the campsite, however, personal alcohol will not be permitted in and around the main site.
On first entry to the site ONLY, each person is permitted to bring in up to 10 beers or ciders, or 1.5 litres of wine (decanted into a plastic container – no glass permitted on site). NO personal spirits will be allowed on site. All excess, or non-compliant alcohol will be confiscated at the accreditation gate.
A variety of nourishing nosh is available and food outlets are situated around the site. Stay tuned to find out what will tingle your taste buds.
You will be allowed to bring your own food onto site however, please note that no personal fires, stoves or cooking devices will be allowed anywhere on the site.
The following items are not permitted on site and will be confiscated at the main gate:
Glass – no glass is allowed anywhere onsite for safety and environmental reasons
Nitrous oxide and/or whippers
Portable laser equipment and pens
Unauthorised professional film or video equipment
Marker and paint pens
Chinese or sky lanterns
Any item which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon
Animals (other than registered guide or hearing dogs)
Sound systems, portable or otherwise
Unofficial tabards or reflective jackets
Unauthorised items for trading, including any goods using unauthorised event logos.
Excessive amounts of food and cigarettes may be refused entry to the site.
