Jennifer Aniston, a famous actress from Hollywood, used to work out for 45 minutes a day doing high-intensity cardio like running or boxing. After years of doing hard, high-impact workouts, her body started to want movement that was softer but still strong. That change made her go to Pvolve, a low-impact workout that focuses on functional strength training.

Dani Coleman, her trainer, has been helping her focus on strength and longevity instead of just intensity.
Why strength is more important as you get older
Jennifer says, “Muscle supports our skeleton.” “Our bones can become weak and brittle as we get older and lose muscle mass. This can lead to osteoporosis.” Falling and breaking a bone because there isn’t enough muscle support is one of the main reasons older people get hurt. We want to avoid that.
Health beyond the gym
Exercise is only one part of Jennifer’s overall health routine. She recently told Women’s Health about the many things she does to stay balanced, energized, and happy, like spending time with her two dogs.
Jennifer Aniston’s Q&A about Healthy Habits
I let my dogs, Clyde and Chesterfield, run around outside, and then I mix 16 ounces of water with colostrum, hair-growth peptides, and the juice of a whole lemon. I eat that first, about 30 to 45 minutes before breakfast or coffee.
Who gave you ideas when you were young?
My grandma. I loved sitting with her in the kitchen while she made Greek pastries, cookies, and spanakopita. She always made me laugh and was so nice to me.
Nothing makes me happier than snuggling up on the couch with my two dogs and watching a good show.
What do you do to stay healthy for a long time?
It is very important to keep your muscle mass healthy. I work out with my trainer, Dani, three to five times a week. Sometimes I also take a Pilates class to mix things up.
What do you do to take care of your mental health?
I try to meditate every day. Some days are too busy for a full 20 minutes, but I can still find 10 minutes or even a short break to breathe and calm my mind.
When was the last time you felt like you were on top of the world?
That’s how I always feel when I’m done with a project. It feels great to wrap up something that took a lot of work and meant a lot. The last thing I worked on was season four of The Morning Show.
